The area of Durmitor and The Tara Gorge can be reached by asphalt roads of good quality. When it comes to the Montenegrin coast we recommend the new road from Risan leading to Zabljak and further on to The Tara Gorge.

From the coast is also possible to get here through Podgorica, Kolasin and Mojkovac. From Central Europe you can get here through Serbia (Belgrade-Cacak-Prijepolje-Pljevlja), through Bosnia (Sarajevo-Pljevlja) or through Croatia (Dubrovnik-Trebinje-Niksic-Zabljak).

The closest railroad station is in Mojkovac (46 km from the Bridge on Djurdjevica Tara).

The closest airport is in Podgorica (140 km)
